Cleanroom Fogger

MSP`s Model 2000 Cleanroom Fogger is a high density fog generator designed for airflow visualization in cleanrooms of manufacturers of VLSI logic and memory chips, magnetic and optical disc drives, pharmaceutical products, etc. The fog is non-contaminating, leaving no measurable residue after the droplets evaporate, and operates without disturbing on-going production activities. The Model 2000 is useful for mapping airflow patterns around cleanroom equipment, tools and operators to locate poor airflow patterns caused by factors such as incorrect equipment placement, standing vortices, air infiltration, and unforeseen flow imbalance. High purity deionized water is vaporized to form steam in a stainless steel boiler. The steam is then injected into a stainless steel dewar containing liquid nitrogen, where the hot steam causes the liquid nitrogen to vaporize, quenching the steam to form a room temperature fog of DI water droplets.
