Dr. Hans Schicht Inducted to CleanRooms Hall of Fame

Boston, MA–Dr. Hans Schicht has been chosen as the 11th inductee into the CleanRooms Magazine Hall of Fame. The formal announcement was made during the CleanRooms East `96 Conference and Exhibition, held in Boston, Massachusetts last month. The CleanRooms Hall of Fame was established in 1990 to honor the industry`s most respected contamination control professionals–“individuals who have made unique and lasting contributions to the advancement of contamination control technology.”
Dr. Schicht was nominated for the honor by his peers and selected as the sole 1995 inductee from a cadre of distinguished candidates by the CleanRooms Editorial Advisory Board. Dr. Schicht is an independent microcontamination control consultant with more than 25 years of industrial experience and a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Zurich, Switzerland), the executive secretary of the Standing Committee of the International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS), and the Swiss Society for Contamination Control. In addition, he was chairman of the ICCCS from 1988 to 1990, and he is currently serving as the Swiss delegate to the standardization bodies ISO/TC209 and CEN/TC243.n
