Daw wins FPD cleanroom contract

Daw Technologies Inc. (Salt Lake City) has won a $2.2 million contract to build a flat panel display cleanroom for a manufacturer in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Daw completed phase 1 of the 60,000-square-foot cleanroom in 1996. Phase 2 of the project, covered under the current contract, is scheduled for completion in late spring. The project will expand manufacturing space within an existing building and modify an existing fab. — SG
