August 22, 2001 — BEDFORD, MA — Bioscience giant Millipore Corporation is working on a 45,000 square foot expansion of its Life Sciences Division facility in Danvers, Mass.
The new space will include laboratories, offices for sales, marketing and technical service, training facilities, a warehouse and cafeteria. The company broke ground on the expansion last month.

As our business expands, we need additional people to carry out our aggressive plans, and this expansion will provide the physical space needed to house these employees.”
The addition is expected to be finished sometime next year, according to company officials. The current facility is 66,000 square feet.
