Nova BioGenetics receives approval for antimicrobial hand gel

April 24, 2002–Atlanta, GA–Nova BioGenetics recently received approval from the Chinese Government’s Department of Health for use of its antimicrobial hand gel in hospitals.

Nova BioGenetics is an affiliate company of BioShield Technologies, Inc. The two companies partnered with MegaStar Universal, Ltd., in formulating, testing and creating what is being dubbed as, China’s first antimicrobial hand gel.

The company says it’s seeing significant demand for the product in China and Asia and within the medical community for its hand gel that destroys a majority of the bacteria and fungi that live on hands.

"We have worked on this project for quite some time and Megastar has made significant investments in China to build a plant to facilitate the manufacture of various health based consumable items and Health Department based products," says Tim Moses, CEO for BioShield.
