Cleaning system

The Soniscan 9 Aqueous Cleaning System from Interlab, used for cleaning in critical ophthalmic applications, pre-AR coating, and in precision optics, now cleans nickel compact disc master substrates prior to compact disc mass production.

The compact console system can be manual, automatic or retrofittable for future automation. Two-stage cleaning combines variable speed vertical agitation, 25 or 40 kHz ultrasonics, and organic contamination removal.

Filtered recirculation prolongs bath life and dual-stage rinsing combines spray and immersion for superior results. DI water regeneration and recirculation loop minimizes rinse water effluent and energy consumption. Fast, ultraclean drying is achieved with Interlab`s patented Microdry hot air dryer, which features a high-temperature HEPA-filter in the base of the chamber to eliminate microscopic contaminants in the air. Work carriers can be supplied on request.
