The DESI/AIR 20,000 desiccant cooling unit that can treat up to 25,000 cubic feet of air per minute is offered by Engelhard/ICC. The unit is designed to provide desiccant cooling technology to large-scale industrial and commercial facilities, including humidity-sensitive cleanrooms.

DESI/AIR has been tested in more than 50 sites and combines desiccant technology with a free cooling thermal wheel to reduce both humidity and temperature.

The unit is designed to: lower operating costs by pretreating air and reducing air conditioning run-time; and use no CFC`s or other refrigerants to prevent future problems associated with environmental and compliance issues.
