Filter test procedure

Filter test procedure

The new Malvern M2 manifold from Malvern Instruments coupled with the APC 300A laser airborne particle counter creates a fully automated airborne (HEPA) filter test procedure.

Results are automatically calculated at the end of a test, supplying percentages of filter efficiency for both upstream and downstream process stages. Purge and delay times may be selected to enable proper “flushing” of sample lines before a measurement. Capabilities for measuring nontoxic gas or air streams from 1-10 bar pressures are available, as well as a diluter system for a higher concentration upstream challenge of particulate.

The M2 manifold transmits results to a PC and integral printer.
