Humidification systems

Stulz America announces the addition of three new humidification technologies.

The new SteaMaster SMU line of electrode steam humidifiers is designed for duct, air handler or standalone applications. It features microprocessor control and is equipped with an anti-foaming system that allows operation with softened water. The new electrode steam line is available in sizes from five to 200 lbs/hr.

For high-capacity applications, Stulz now offers the SA atomizing humidification systems that provide energy savings combined with lower first cost. The new compressed air systems are used in manufacturing facilities and large warehouses that require precise humidity control combined with large load requirements. The Stulz atomizing stainless steel heads are self-cleaning and offer microprocessor control with 100:1 modulation turndown for precise control.

For buildings with existing boiler steam, Stulz offers the steam-to-steam humidification system, which takes into consideration IAQ and health concerns by keeping boiler corrosion inhibitors out of the conditioned space and takes advantage of energy efficient humidification. The new SFS steam-to-steam systems are made from stainless steel and Teflon-coated continuos coil heat exchangers. Humidifiers are available in capacities ranging from five to 1,500 lbs./hr.
