Safety cabinet

Designed for use with biosafety level 1, 2 and 3 biological or cytotoxic agents, Forma Scientific`s new Model 1202 is a Class II, Type A, NSF-listed 5-ft. console model biological safety cabinet. This unit features a unitized interior side and rear wall construction of heavy gauge stainless steel for cleaning convenience. A stainless steel work tray easily lifts out of the work area without tools.

A Voltage Compensating Speed Control has been incorporated to ensure the motor receives constant voltage even during power fluctuations, ensuring the motor`s RPM stability and steady airflow which increase operator safety. Forma`s internal linear response damper for balancing airflow is adjustable from the front without accessing a contaminated plenum (patent pending). This eliminates the need to decontaminate the unit before adjusting the damper.

A sliding window provides a 10-in. opening to allow easy entry into the work area. A pre-filter located under the work surface extends HEPA-filter life. A modular control panel slides out for easy access and serviceability.
