ESD control training program
Interactive Media Communications (IMC) has just released “The Electrostatic Discharge Control Training Program,” an interactive multimedia CD-ROM course to help personnel in manufacturing and service environments, including cleanrooms and high voltage hazard areas, effectively control unnecessary damage from electrostatic discharge.
The course is designed to meet EOS/EDS Association standards and ISO 9000 requirements for ESD control and was developed with the participation of leading experts from Digital Equipment Corp. and AT&T. Full-screen, full-motion video of workplace situations combine with audio and computer graphics to create an individualized learning experience.
Specialized IMC administrative software tracks each trainee`s performance to identify areas where additional review may be needed. Recommended hardware requirements: 486DX 66-MHz computer with 8 Mbytes RAM, double-speed CD-ROM drive and MPEG playback board.
