Airesearch Technology presents an air sterilizer specially designed to kill airborne microorganisms as a supplement to HEPA filtration in cleanrooms. Not an ionizer or a filtration air purifier, the Germitrol line of “germ killers” uses a patented UV system and is widely applicable in hospitals, clinics, offices, food processing areas, laboratories, and childcare centers. It draws in room air, kills airborne germs in its sterilizing chamber, and uses a blower to expel the air back into the room. The Germitrol 100 comes in a compact size (W28.5 &#165 L24 &#165 H7.5 cm), can be mounted on a table top and covers about 100 to 200 ft2 of floor area, killing viruses, bacteria, fungi, moulds, yeast, etc. The larger Germitrol 200 consumes less than 100 W of electricity and covers about 400 ft2 of floor area.
