Compressed gas filters
Balston compressed gas filters from Whatman Inc. are specifically designed to remove suspended liquids and dirt from pipeline natural gas. The housings are ASME code stamped at up to 1,440 psig. The filters are rated at 93 percent retention of 0.1 ?m and 100 percent retention of 1 ?m liquid droplets and solid particles. Models are available for flow rates of up to 183 million standard ft3 per day.
Coalesced liquid drains continuously from the filter cartridge, and the filters have an unlimited capacity for liquid removal. Standard features include an au omatic float drain, differential pressure tindicator and a set of filter cartridges.
