The A-Prime solvent cleaning system is new from Forward Technologies. It can be used with low flashpoint solvents such as isopropyl alcohol and cyclohexane.

Typical applications of the A-Prime solvent include the removal of contaminants from PC boards and hybrid junctions, electromechanical components, optical and medical devices, and other precision mechanical components. This system is suitable for both cleanroom and industrial applications because of its stainless steel construction with complete enclosure of moving parts.

A vapor zone heated to 20-50!F above the solvent?s boiling point is maintained to ensure complete drying of parts in a short amount of time. Parts leaving the superheated vapor contain no liquid solvent, minimizing drag-out and vapor emissions. Features include a high reflux rate, indirect heating, automated lift, and extensive safety system. Other features include a secondary containment tray, dual-mode operation, 100 percent freeboard automatic sliding cover, remote main electrical cabinet, PLC control, and welded solvent plumbing.
