Glove sealing system

Glove sealing system

The Carpenter Group has introduced the GloveLock2 Glove Sealing system, designed to eliminate human particulate contamination by creating a friction-seal between the glove and the garment sleeve. The patented two-step process is based on the principle that the source of human particulate contamination is at the sleeve-end of the cleanroom garment, where the glove rolls or slides away from the garment sleeve. The GloveLock 2 consists of a twist of the glove cuff and a single pass through the unit. The GloveLock 1800+ Glove Sealing Tape adhesive does not come into contact with cleanroom garments, and the sealing process itself uses a very small amount of disposable material. Adjustable sealing tension is also a feature. The units are compact and user friendly and are available in both wall-mounted (GLKV-2.2) and bench-mounted (GLK-2.2) models.
