Cleanroom Robots
Motoman`s K3CR and K10CR robots are certified for high speed assembly, machine-loading, and handling applications in a Class 1 cleanroom environment. The robots have internal negative pressure, sealed-bearings, and non-silicon gaskets. Both are fully articulated, six-axis robots with a repetitive positioning accuracy of ۪.1 (۪.004 in.) and can be floor, wall or ceiling-mounted. The K3CR has a 3 kg (6.6 lb) payload capacity with a reach of 85.9 mm (33.82 in.); the K10CR robot has a 10 kg (22.1 lb) payload capacity with a reach of 1,555 mm (61.22 in.). Motoman`s MRC robot controller, which can be located inside or outside the cleanroom environment (remote up to 30 meters), uses a high performance, 32-bit RISC distributed architecture and digital signal processing.
