Thermoformable vinyl film
Mirrex 7002 is a clear, static-dissipative thermoformable vinyl film formulated by American Mirrex Corporation for use in thermoforming ESD trays, clamshells, and blisters to protect against damage during the packaging and shipping of sensitive electronic components and passive devices. These include PC circuit boards, computer disk drives, multimedia devices, communication cards, and other cables and connector components. The Mirrex 7002 ESD film provides a protective packaging alternative to flexible bags, bubble wrap, or paperboard containers. After final use, it is recyclable. Mirrex 7002 meets or exceeds the industry standard for surface resistance of 1 ¥ 1012 and static decay of <2 secs at 12 percent relative humidity. Standard gauges range from .0075 in. to .030 in., and rolls may be ordered in custom slit-widths.
