Labconco has redesigned its Purifier Clean Bench for work that requires a particulate-free environment. Particle counts in the bench`s work area conform to Federal Standard 209E, providing Class 100 conditions. Room air is drawn through a pre-filter in the top of the cabinet to trap large particles. The air then flows through a 99.99 percent efficient HEPA filter and is projected horizontally out across the entire work area. A two-light indicator on the filter provides continuous information on filter loading. The work surface is made of plastic laminate, with clear, tempered safety glass sides and crevice-free exterior panels. An energy efficient motor/blower and fluorescent lighting are also featured on the bench. Options include a service fixture, UV lighting, and UV-resistant curtain closure. The Purifier Clean Bench is available in 3-, 4- and 6-ft. models.
