Air purification system
Clestra Cleanroom announces improvements to its ClestraClean Air Purification system 525, designed to meet OSHA and CDC guidelines to reduce airborne TB and other microorganisms. The ClestraClean system combines an ultraviolet germicidal light with a specially patented HEPA filter. New safety features include a fiber optic UV light status indicator, a mini-mag gauge that monitors air flow performance, and an external counter to constantly monitor machine usage. Also, no tools are required for replacing prefilters and HEPA filters or the germicidal UV light. In addition, the ClestraClean uses an external breaker instead of a fuse. A patented curved HEPA filter design differentiates it from air purifiers that use flat filters. The curvature allows the germicidal radiation to bathe the entire filtering surface, maximizing the kill effect. Purified air can also be recirculated or exhausted to produce negative pressure.
