Desiccant dryer system

The new Reading Technologies, Inc. (RTi) Eliminator II is a multi-stage, dual-housing, point-of-use desiccant dryer system designed for low-flow compressed air applications from 0.1 to 7 scfm up to 150 psig. The Eliminator II delivers clean air filtered to one micron at dewpoints as low as -40&#176 F. The first stage uses RTi`s Inverse-Flow technology to remove 100 percent of oil and water/liquid contaminants to 0.003 micron, as well as oil vapor, using a deep bed of activated carbon. The prefiltered air is then flowed through a Stage Two unit containing desiccant media, which reduces the water vapor in the compressed air and ensures that no liquid contamination condenses downstream in low-flow applications. When the desiccant is fully saturated, the cartridge can be removed and replaced with a new one in a matter of seconds.
