DePuy Healthcare has introduced Spiriclens Sterile, a spore-free sterile industrial methylated spirit BP 70 percent v/v, aerosol spray. The product uses purified water while all raw materials and mixed solutions are filtered at 0.22 microns prior to can filling, enabling an endotoxin level of less than 0.9 eu/ml. Each can of Spiriclens Sterile is double-bagged and irradiated to a dose of not less than 25 KGy.

All batches pass sterility test PhEur 1986 and all deliveries can be accompanied by a certificate of analysis, a certificate of irradiation, and a copy of the sterility test results. Spiriclens uses nitrogen as a propellant.
