The ILM Gas H2O Monitor is the first of a complete line of gas contamination monitoring devices under development at Millipore. According to the company, ILM is the first in-line device for continuous, real-time monitoring of moisture in nitrogen and argon gases. The monitor uses a proprietary sensor technology and integrates electronics and software in a device the size of a mass flow controller. The ILM can be used anywhere in the inert gas distribution system where moisture detection in nitrogen or argon is critical. The ILM can be interfaced with an analog and digital control system that is available with an alarm for alerting operators to out-of-spec processing conditions.
