0.1-micron filtering for Class 100 seating

Biofit Engineered Seating has improved the filtration system in its Class 100 seating line down to 0.1 microns from 0.3 microns. The conformal seating design incorporates Filtrete, a filtering product manufactured by 3M, made of polypropylene fibers which resists moisture and degradation. It provides electrostatic mechanisms which capture dust, pollen and bacteria and allows greater air flow through the filter maintaining a consistent performance within a range of temperature and humidity changes. The chairs are constructed with heavy-gauge vinyl upholstery wrapped around the seat board, cushion and protective bumper.

The backrest is equipped with a protective polyproplene panel, which is sealed with adhesive. A sealant is applied to both the seat and backrest. A seat-height adjustment cylinder is firmly plugged.
