Silane gas detector
EIT is offering an ultraviolet-based optical sensor to detect combustible silane gas. FlameChek mounts directly on top of a gas cabinet and senses a flame from a tube or fitting. FlameChek costs less than $1,000 and has low maintenance needs. Two DPDT relay contact outputs are provided–a flame relay and an auxiliary relay, which can be used to trip audible and visual alerts, as well as shutdown the system by closing a gas line isolation valve. The auxiliary relay is controlled by an auxiliary input and can be used for system interlock, system test, a dual wavelength system, and connection of a back-up FlameChek.
