Vapor cleaner
AmeriVap Systems is introducing its Cleanfix DS-3 and DS-7 steam extraction units that were designed for cleanrooms and operating rooms. The Cleanfix units use superheated steam (65 psi at 156°C) that is generated with DI water to dislodge particles. The particles are then removed with a wet vacuum into a water tank. The tanks hold 3 liters to 7 liters, respectively. The clean DI water supply is stored in a stainless steel tank and no chemicals are required for cleaning. Contaminated water is stored in a separate waste water tank. The DS-7 (see photo) releases 94 percent moisture-free dry vapor through its various accessory tools allowing the user to clean, sanitize and extract particles all in one action–then, the surface is left dry. According to AmeriVap, the temperature provides up to a 99 percent kill while the extraction removes all dirt, grease and grime.
