Flanders acquires Precisionaire

Washington, NC–Flanders Corp. has moved one step closer to its goal of being the dominant supplier of clean air worldwide. At the end of September, the filtration company acquired Precisionaire, Inc. By acquiring Precisionaire, Flanders more than doubled its revenues for the first six months of 1996. According to Robert Amerson, president and CEO of Flanders: “We have now completed the first phase of our plan to become the dominant supplier of clean air worldwide. We intend to continue growing through both internal expansion and acquisition.” With Precisionaire`s products, Flanders will be selling to the following markets: semiconductor manufacturing, commercial and industrial HVAC markets, residential replacement filter market, pharmaceutical and biotech markets as well as the nuclear power industry.
