EIT`s model 4688 combustible gas detector can be calibrated by a single technician. The procedure is entirely non-intrusive, requiring only a supplied magnet. The output of the 4-20 mA unit is selectable to 1.5, 3.5, or 4 mA, which makes it compatible with nearly any gas receiver system. The 4688 employs a poison-resistant, catalytic-bead sensor that delivers excellent stability and rapidly detects combustible gases that reach percent-level LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) concentrations.
