Butterfly valves that can be placed directly into high-purity systems without the need for any component cleaning in the field are the latest product from Bray Valve and Controls. The valves use Bray`s Class 1,000 cleanroom facility for cleaning, assembling, testing, and bagging of Bray valves for high-purity applications.

The Bray Series 22/23 line of PTFE butterfly valves offers resistance to chemical or other line media permeation, as well as high-purity integrity to take full advantage of cleanroom benefits. Seats and encapsulated disks are molded from pure, virgin PTFE material to a minimum thickness of 3 mm with a specific gravity of 2.16 and a crystallinity of exactly 68 percent.

Bray Series 22/23 valves are suitable for applications in semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and other industries which have standards for high-purity.
