Static Technologies Corp.`s SR-1001 is a compact resistivity meter that is ideal for testing ESD control materials. This unit measures only 3.75-in. &#165 2.375-in. &#165 1-in. The resistance range of the material being tested is indicated by the lit LED on the top of the tester. The unit has six LEDs covering materials up to 1010 ohms. Both surface resistivity and resistance-to-ground tests can be done with the SR-1001.

Powered by a 9V battery, the unit has a test voltage of 6.2 Vdc. Two parallel conductive elastomer probes are used for surface resistance measurements. The SR-1001 includes the tester, nine-volt battery, 3-ft lead for resistance-to-ground tests, and a vinyl carrying case.
