The article “Cleanroom subfloors harbor an arsenal of dust, vermin and other contaminants,” (CleanRooms, Feb. 1997, p. 1) was good, and I would bet that most of the dust collected is from garments.
I question the statement, “…they could improve their yields from about 85 percent to 95 percent with just an annual cleaning.” It`s a very broad statement and detracts from the rest of the article. Manufacturers will do anything “that works” to increase yield, but they want proof first.
