Air purification system

Honeywell Inc., Commercial Air Products, offers the 16000 Series air purification system, providing filtration through 99.97 percent HEPA. A stand-alone or ductable system, the 16000 Series uses several filtration processes to capture airborne contaminants. Ten two- and three-stage modular systems provide a wide variety of filtration combinations. Two-stage units offer electrostatic precipitation, True HEPA filter (99.97 percent at 0.3 &#181m), hospital grade HEPA filter (95 percent at 0.3 &#181m); and high efficiency filter (95 percent ASHRAE), medium efficacy (65 percent ASHRAE), sorbent modules (CPZ, charcoal, permanganate and zeolite). Three-stage filters utilize a prefilter in addition to two primary filters. All systems use a first stage 30 percent to 40 percent ASHRAE-rated (dust spot) filter. Units may be installed above a ceiling and may be ducted to provide air purification to a number of areas. Use of positive air pressure prevents migration of contaminants back into clean areas.
