Ashland Chemical teams with R&D firm to grow technology/products

Ashland Chemical Co.`s Electronic Chemicals Division is engaged in an exclusive agreement with Concept Sciences Inc., a new research company started by Dr. I.E. “Chip” Ward and Dr. Frank Michelotti, co-founders of ACT, Inc., and acquired by Ashland in 1994. Under the agreement, Concept Sciences will conduct technology and product development for Ashland in the area of semiconductors, flat panel display and liquid crystal display and assembly. — SES
