Hodess builds Olin Microelectronics a new cleanroom

North Attleboro, MA

Hodess Building Co. has recently completed construction of a Class 10,000 cleanroom for Olin Microelectronics (East Providence, RI). The cleanroom is designed to house a chemical formulation process for one of Olin`s photoresist products. Value engineering recommendations on the architectural structure, mechanical system, and on the design of the formulation process have reduced the original estimated cost of the project by 50 percent, according to the company. All components used in the facility`s construction are in conformance with Class 1, Division 2, classification requirements. — SES
