Static-dissipative polyester coverall provides microbial barrier

The Model 111 Maxima ESD high-density polyester coverall from Aramark Cleanroom Services is cut with generous trunk and leg lengths. The coverall has a military stand-up collar that anchors the hood bib, when tucked in, to prevent pop out. It has a Gamma-compatible, jam-resistant coil zipper in front with two snaps at the top. Features include extra-long raglan sleeves, a thumb loop at the wrist to be worn under the glove to avoid sleeve ride-up, elastic at the wrists and ankles and three post snaps on the back of each leg for boot attachment. They are available in white and navy blue. The polyester fabric is used in sterile environments specifically in pharmaceutical cleanrooms, where a microbial barrier is needed. The fabric is constructed of 99 percent polyester and 1 percent carbon fibers. The high density weave protects products from electrostatic discharge. The company also offers coveralls made from Burlington C3 static-dissipative polyester for use in Class 10 and Class 100 environments. In addition, a herringbone-weave polyester version is available for less critical environments.
