Osmonics pure water system chosen

Osmonics` (Minnetonka, MN) ultrapure water system, which combines a multimedia filter, activated carbon, a softener, an in-line UV sterilizer, an RO machine, a mixed-bed DI system, cartridge filters, and an ultrafiltration unit, will be used by a Malaysian chip manufacturer for rinsing chips in its new fab. The system is expected to expand its capacity from 88 gpm to 154 gpm within one year. — KS
