Cleanroom generator
The new PSL Generator from Air Techniques is capable of testing cleanroom systems up to 100,000 cfm with polystyrene latex (PSL) spheres. The system includes a detachable PSL aerosol exhaust probe and an atomizing nozzle that produces high concentrations of PSL aerosol. A reservoir for the PSL suspension and a means for controlling the aerosol output is included in the base unit, allowing aerosol to generate at the unit base and at remote locations through the probe. The generator operates on compressed air. It is used to certify cleanrooms in microelectronics facilities where liquid borne aerosols are prohibited.
