Ergonomic seating

BioFit Engineered Seating offers Class 1max, an advanced ergonomic Class 1 chair, manufactured in a cleanroom. The chair features an ergonomic seat and backrest tilt control. The seat control is covered with a hard plastic pan, sealed with flexible neoprene rubber and double-sided high contact, non-outgassing tape.

The chair features an air exchange system in the seat that does not allow air to escape into the cleanroom surroundings. The air exchange system is a bag encased in a protective pan attached to the seat. When someone sits on it, the air in the seat cushion discharges into the reservoir, not the surroundings.

BioFit also manufactures a line of high-tech budget Class 1 chairs and stools as part of its Microtech line of high-technology seating.

Also new from BioFit is a gray vinyl upholstery. The upholstery has a lower surface resistivity for increased static protection on its cleanroom chairs. A new Class 10 and Breathable Class 10 chair and stool are available. BioFit Class 10 seating, like the Class 1 model, features an exclusive air exchange system in the seat that does not allow air to escape into the cleanroom surroundings.
