Ultra-pure water systems

Using a single, SG multi-functional cartridge containing an active carbon stage, a high performance mixed-bed ion exchanger, and a scavenger stage, which contains a mixture of macroporous adsorptive resins, SG Water Systems USA`s Clear ultra-pure water systems provide well over 20,000 liters of ultra pure water, with 18.2 MW cm resistance and conductivity of 0.055 &#181S/cm. In addition, an optional dual-wavelength UV lamp, which provides irradiation prior to the SG multi-functional cartridge, offers reduced TOC values (<3 ppb) and improved sterilization. Water is dis- infected by destroying the DNA of microor- ganisms during the irradiation process, and Clear`s optional membrane ultra-filtration system removes all particles and germs larger than 0.2 &#181m. The Clear systems meet ASTM Type I, CAP, ACS and NCCLS standards.
