Monitoring system
The Model 621 Static Level Monitoring System is Electro-Tech Systems` latest product offering. The system is used to warn equipment operators of high static-charge levels before manufacturing is disrupted or damage to the end product occurs. The system can be applied to manufacturers of sheets or powdered materials consisting of plastics, paper, grain or other insulative synthetic material along with the semiconductor manufacturing industry. It can be used in ionized and non-ionized environments. With an accuracy of ± 5 percent, the system consists of a control unit housed in a cast aluminum enclosure and a chopper stabilized sensor with a 20-foot cable. The unit automatically ranges between 0 to ± 5 kV and 0 to ± 50 kV. Standard features include an alarm threshold with visual alarm, 4-20 mA and ± 1 volt recorder outputs and a Form C relay output for alarm functions. Optional features include an external junction box, 1/8-inch NPT Air Purge, premounted alarm, extended cable lengths, variable calibration distance and relay output to drive additional equipment such as ionizers.
