MPS-4G1 designed for particle collection and identification

California Measurements` MPS-4G1 Microanalysis Air Particle Sampler collects particles for direct scanning microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The unit utilizes well-established inertial impaction principles for particle size separation and collection, helping users identify the nature and origin of airborne microcontaminants in their cleanrooms. Applications include con tam ination control in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, aerospace and high precision manufacturing; computer disk drive particulate sampling; process equipment particle emission characterization; and particle counter calibration. The MPS-4G1 operates at a flow rate of 0.25 scfm or seven liters per minute and has a four-stage cascade impactor that is used to segregate particles into four sizes ranging from 0.05 to 2.0 &#181m.
