Air sampler
The Airtest Omega, an air sampling device designed by LCB of La Salle, France, is engineered for sensitive sampling of airborne molds, fungi and bacteria, with lab evaluations confirming sampling efficiency of particles between one and 10 µm in diameter and efficient collection of viable organisms. Applications include confirmation of sterile environments in hospitals, pharmaceutical production and medical product manufacturing; identification of contamination in food handling, cosmetic manufacturing and air supply systems; and environmental pollution monitoring of emissions from composting. The lightweight device uses standard petri dishes and comes with five autoclavable, perforated sample heads to avoid cross-contamination.
