Acquisition positions Daw for 300 mm tool development

Daw Technologies Inc. has acquired GA-based Intelligent Enclosures Corp. (iE), which is considered a pioneer of the concept of process equipment enclosures and tool isolation environment technology. According to officials, the acquisition gives the company an opportunity to participate in the contamination control requirements for tool set in the 300 mm fabs currently under development. — TGW
