Honeywell names first `clean` bowling alley in Oklahoma
Sapulka, OK
The Sahoma Lanes Bowling Center is the first of its kind in Oklahoma to be designated as a clean air facility by Honeywell Inc. The honor was bestowed upon the bowling center as part of the Honeywell Clean Air Facility (HCAF) program, which helps businesses market their facilities as clean air establishments. To qualify for HCAF, commercial businesses must install and maintain the type and quantity of air cleaners required to improve indoor air quality according to Honeywell specifications, which are based, in part, on current American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards. To offer their patrons and employees a cleaner environment, Sahoma Lanes installed six ceiling-mounted air cleaners, each of which uses a three-stage filtering system and provides approximately 1,050-cubic-feet-per-minute airflow. — TGW
