Testing company earns CAQ accreditation

SGS U.S. Testing Co. has completed the Council on Antimicrobial Quality (CAQ) phase I laboratory accreditation program administered by the Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association. The program was established to ensure that laboratories conducting tests on disinfectants, sanitizers and germicides produce data that is reliable, accurate and reproducible.

SGS` analytical services group offers product performance testing, instrumental and chemical analysis, safety studies, and consultation in environmental and regulatory compliance to major manufacturers of industrial and household chemicals, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, among others. Its microbiology lab recently added a virology/cell culture laboratory, expanding disinfectant efficacy testing capabilities. — TGW
