Centrifuge

The Powerfuge separation systems now include an aseptic production system that allows makers of vaccines, serums and other injectables to separate their products under completely contained and sterile conditions. According to the manufacturer, capabilities include steam-in-place sterilization at pressures to two bars; 20,000G separation forces for recovery of particles as small as 0.1 micron; and automated solids removal. Its design also helps eliminate potential worker or product exposure.
