Norwalk, CT
With industry`s increased commitment to a clean environment and the injection of municipal and other non-hazardous and non-radioactive wastes all but banned, the waste containment segment of the market is poised for growth. The waste treatment industry itself is projected to top $16 billion in 2000. According to the DWT97 Waste Treatment Technology Industry Review, a soon-to-be-released publication from Business Communications Company Inc. (Norwalk, CT), the total 1997 U.S. waste management market was $15.2 billion, $7.2 billion of which was containment.
