Mahle names Scientific Air Systems as distributor

Scientific Air Systems Inc. (SAS), a manufacturer of entry system products for the cleanroom market, has been named exclusive U.S. distributor for the Mahle raised aluminum access floor systems from Mahle Raumtechnik GmbH, one of Germany`s leading precision die-casting and manufacturing firms.

The SAS heavy-duty raised floor system consists of several systems developed for the microelectronic cleanrooms, computer rooms and laboratory markets. They consist of three types of aluminum floors: the Octograte 1500 and 2000 grated panels for cleanroom production in the semiconductor industry; the Prodata 1500 (6500) and 2000 (10000) solid panels (over 1,500 pounds to 2,250 pounds ) for use with static-dissipative and conductive vinyl; and Aluvent Perforated Panels (256, 512 and 1024), perforated ventilation panels to meet the same structural characteristics as solid panels.
