Novo Nordisk adds Japanese plant

Novo Nordisk Pharma Ltd., a unit of Novo Nordisk AS of Denmark, has completed construction of a $48.060 million factory in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The 10,500-square-meter factory is the company`s second plant in Japan and will produce insulin and other drugs. The company owns another facility in Kanagawa Prefecture. — SES
