VWR makes acquisitions

VWR Scientific Products Corp. has acquired A.J. Reynolds Co., Inc., a Torrance, CA-based, privately held distributor of specialty microelectronics and cleanroom supplies.

In a similar move, VWR purchased HPC Scientific and Technology, a Portland, OR-based, privately held distributor of specialty chemicals, cleanroom and laboratory supplies. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. — TGW
