The SCS filtration system is made for use with the water/alcohol cleaning fluid used to clean circuit boards, electronic components and other devices. When combined with the SCS Model 7525 cascade filter, it processes and recycles two gallons of contaminated cleaning solution per minute, removing ionic contaminants from the cleaning solution, as well as micron and submicron particles, according to the manufacturer. The unit is mounted in a polypropylene housing designed for spill containment and features an alarm and automated shutdown feature to protect against damage due to malfunction.
